Product overview
What it does, and where it fits.
A 45° elbow changes direction with less turbulence and lower pressure drop than a right-angle bend, which matters on slurry duties and on long runs where every fitting adds head loss. The lined version keeps a continuous fluoropolymer bore through the turn.
Construction mirrors the 90° elbow: ASTM A 106 Gr. B bend, IS 2062 or ASTM A 105 flanges to ASME/ANSI B16.5 Class 150, both flanges fixed as standard, and a PTFE, PFA or FEP liner flared over both faces.

Questions we are asked about this item.
Where pressure drop or impingement wear matters. Two 45° bends turning a corner produce less turbulence than a single 90°, at the cost of an extra joint and more space.
No. The liner is produced to the thickness specified for the bore and the whole component is spark tested at 5000 V per mm of liner thickness, which would reveal any thin spot.
