Product overview

What it does, and where it fits.

Where a straight hose tail would foul structure or force a tight bend radius in the hose, the bend hose connector turns the outlet through an angle first. That protects the hose and makes the connection easier to reach.

Five combinations are listed from DN 15 to DN 50, with hose diameters of 20, 22 and 28 mm and lengths from 40 mm to 100 mm.

Features

Built into every unit.

  • Angled outlet — protects the hose from a tight bend radius
  • DN 15 to DN 50 with hose diameters 20, 22 and 28 mm
  • Length L 40 mm to 100 mm
  • Borosilicate 3.3 with beaded end

Benefits

Why it earns its place in the line.

  • Completely inert to almost all process media — no metal pick-up and no contamination of the batch
  • Full visibility of the process along the whole line
  • Smooth, non-wetting bore that resists fouling and cleans easily
  • Excellent thermal shock resistance from borosilicate 3.3
  • Modular flanged construction — sections can be swapped without cutting or welding

Applications & industries

Typical applications

  • Hose connections in confined spaces
  • Drumming off where the hose must turn immediately
  • Temporary transfer from a wall-mounted line
  • Pilot plant hook-ups

FAQ

Questions we are asked about this item.

A tight radius kinks the hose, restricts flow and shortens its life. Turning the outlet in glass first lets the hose leave on a natural sweep.

The datasheet lists DN 50 with a 22 mm tail only. Tell us if you need a larger tail at that bore.
