What it does, and where it fits.
The adaptor bellow flange is used to fit a bellow having a different bolt configuration. It is made of cast iron and is supplied with a split ring.
It is particularly used to fit a bellow to non-glass equipment such as a glass-lined reactor. This is the flange used in FBF and VBF type PTFE bellows — the glass-to-metal families.
The adaptor bellow flange is generally supplied undrilled. However, if specified, it can be supplied drilled as per Table E, Table F or ASA 150 standards. The drilled tables below give the PCD and hole pattern for Table F and ASA 150.
