What it does, and where it fits.
The unequal bracket joins two tubes of different nominal bore. The main socket takes the larger tube, NB; the second socket, NB1, takes the smaller. That is the usual arrangement where a heavy vertical or frame member has to pick up lighter secondary framing.
Four references cover the practical pairings: 25/15, 30/15, 40/25 and 50/25.
Cast iron and slidable, fixed with grub screws in common with the rest of the range.
