Product overview
What it does, and where it fits.
Where a rigid lined spool cannot absorb movement — a pump connection, a vibrating skid, a loading arm, a line crossing a settlement joint — a lined hose pipe does the same chemical job while flexing. The PTFE liner carries the fluid; a stainless steel corrugated core supports it; a stainless wire braid takes the pressure and end load.
Ends are ASTM A 276 stainless flanges drilled to ASME/ANSI B16.5 Class 150. Face-to-face length is made to order, so the assembly can be built to the exact installed geometry rather than forced to a catalogue length.
Features
Built into every unit.
- PTFE liner to ASTM D 1457 inside a stainless corrugated core
- Stainless steel wire braid for pressure containment
- ASTM A 276 stainless steel flanges to ASME/ANSI B16.5 Class 150
- Stainless steel body throughout — no painted carbon steel
- NB 1" to 12", face-to-face length made to order
Benefits
Why it earns its place in the line.
- Absorbs vibration, misalignment and thermal movement that would crack a rigid lined spool
- Keeps a fully fluoropolymer wetted path across the flexible section
- Stainless construction resists external corrosion in wash-down areas
- Outstanding corrosion resistance to aggressive organic and inorganic chemicals across a wide temperature range
- Non-stick, non-wetting bore — low surface energy keeps product moving and simplifies cleaning
- Chemically inert and pure; no additives, plasticisers, stabilisers or lubricants to contaminate the process fluid

FAQ
Questions we are asked about this item.
Any length — the catalogue states face-to-face is on customer's requirement. Send the installed dimension, the movement the hose has to absorb and the bend radius available.
No. The wetted path is the PTFE liner only. The corrugated core supports the liner and the braid takes the pressure and end load.
