Product overview
What it does, and where it fits.
A polypropylene body resists many aqueous acids, alkalis and salts that attack steel, at a fraction of the weight and cost of a lined or stainless unit. For water treatment, plating, effluent and dosing duties that is often the most sensible specification.
The body and connectors are PP, the windows are toughened borosilicate 3.3 or soda lime, and the gaskets are silicone rather than the PTFE used elsewhere in the range. Sizes run 25NB to 150NB with face to face from 183 mm to 320 mm.

FAQ
Questions we are asked about this item.
Silicone suits the PP body and the aqueous duties this model is intended for. The rest of the range uses PTFE. If your medium needs PTFE, tell us and we will advise a different model.
150NB. Above that the range moves to metallic and lined bodies.
