Product overview
What it does, and where it fits.
This is the mild steel version of the T-bush design. The PTFE bushes still isolate the flanges from the fluid, so the wetted path remains PTFE and borosilicate glass, but the flange metal, tie rods and fasteners are mild steel and G.I.
For corrosive media in an environment that does not attack the outside of the unit, that is the most economical way to a fully fluoropolymer wetted path. An acrylic protection tube gives additional safety and a toughened glass tube is available on request.
Features
Built into every unit.
- PTFE T-bushes give a PTFE and glass wetted path on a mild steel frame
- Additional safety by acrylic protection tube
- Toughened glass tube available on request
- Easy installation in horizontal and vertical lines
- Easy cleaning and maintenance
Benefits
Why it earns its place in the line.
- Most economical route to a full fluoropolymer wetted path
- Site-replaceable T-bush and glass tube
- 360° visibility over the whole length — sees what a two-window unit misses
- Glass tube and gaskets replaceable on site without cutting the pipework
- Short face to face across the size range makes retrofit straightforward

FAQ
Questions we are asked about this item.
Yes — PTFE bushes and gaskets with a borosilicate 3.3 tube in both. The difference is the flange, tie rod and fastener metal, which is not in contact with the fluid.
An acrylic protection tube is available for additional safety, and a polycarbonate or acrylic safety shield is provided on request.
