Product overview
What it does, and where it fits.
A tubular sight flow indicator replaces a section of line with a borosilicate glass tube held between two flanges on tie rods. You see the entire circumference and the whole length of the section, rather than two viewing ports — which is what catches settling solids, stratification and slow-moving interfaces.
In this lined version the flanges are cast stainless (CF8, CF8M, CF3M or CG3M) with an FEP or PFA lining, so every wetted surface is either borosilicate glass or fluoropolymer. That makes it suitable for observing the flow of corrosive media without introducing a weak point into the line.
It can be built for pressures up to 10 bar, and custom face-to-face lengths up to 1500 mm are available. A polycarbonate or acrylic safety shield is supplied on request.
